Which Course Do I Need To Take? Why Are These Courses Mandatory?

As per the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005 (BAPCPA), people who plan to file for bankruptcy protection must get credit counseling within six months before they file, and must complete a course in debtor education after filing. Dollar Learning Foundation is approved to provide the credit counseling and debtor education courses in all states except for Alabama and North Carolina. Approval does not endorse or assure the quality of an agency's service.
